Vignoble de Pauline Auxey-Duresses Les Rondieres Pinot Noir

Latest addition to our portfolio and an extension to the range of wines we carry from Domaine Truchetet and Morgan Truchetet. Pauline Genot (Wife of Morgan Truchetet) has taken ownership of her family vineyards in Saint Romain and Auxey-Duresses and 2022 was her inaugural vintage.

Pinot Noir from organic vines planted in 1972 in the Rondières lieu-dit, featuring marl and limestone soils. Harvested by hand, sorting in the vineyard and on a vibrating table in the cellar. Vinification: total destemming, a few days of cold maceration, pumping over but very little punching down. Pressing, 12 months of barrel ageing with 20% new oak. After a year, the barrels are racked for blending in vats, before bottling. All work is done by gravity.
