Bastian Wolber's winemaking career took shape after he broke his hand during a skateboard accident. He couldn't continue his apprenticeship at Bastian Wolber's winemaking career began after he broke his hand in a skateboarding accident, which prevented him from continuing his apprenticeship with Ganevat. Despite initially feeling regretful about missing out on the opportunity, this setback led him to explore an alternative way to pursue his passion for winemaking. This led him to start his own wine project, which he named "Laisse Tomber," meaning 'let it go.' The name was a nod to his skateboarding accident, and the label features a rider falling off a horse, symbolizing sensibility and soul, as a tribute to his mother, who was a riding instructor.

Bastian has quickly gained recognition as a rising star in both Burgundy, France, and Baden, Germany. Following in his brother Christoph's (Wasenhaus) footsteps, Bastian is producing delicate, pure, and enjoyable wines that have earned high praise.
